SCOTT MARSHALL CLIENTS AT THE OPEN AND CLOSE OF BFI LONDON FILM FESTIVAL 2014

Last week, the BFI announced that that this year’s London Film Festival will close with the European Premiere of David Ayer’s wartime drama Fury. Starring Brad Pitt as battle-hardened army sergeant Wardaddy and featuring our own Laurence Spellman as Sgt. Dillard, Fury is set in April 1945 as the Allies make their final heroic attempts to strike the heart of Nazi Germany.

This news is particularly exciting as it means that Scott Marshall clients will now appear in both the opening and closing films of the fest. A few weeks ago, we learnt that another Second World War thriller, The Imitation Game, is to receive its European Premiere at the opening of the BFI Festival. Centring on the true story of Alan Turing, the British computing pioneer who cracked the German Enigma codes during WWII, The Imitation Game features our own Tom Goodman-Hill and Andrew Havill alongside Benedict Cumberbatch as Turing and Keira Knightley as Turing’s close friend and fellow code-breaker Joan Clarke.

The 58th BFI London Film Festival will run from 8th – 19th October 2014.
