STARRED UP PROVING TO BE A SMASH

According to a wave of film critics and online bloggers, Starred Up “is one of the best British films you’ll see all year”. There is no hiding that this is a gruelling watch, but there is also no doubt amongst those with the stomach to view it, that it is also extremely good. Starred Up follows 19 year old Eric (Skins’ Jack O’Connell) as he transfers from a young offenders’ institute to adult prison early due to a violent track record. Little does he know that his estranged father Neville (Ben Mendelsohn) is two cells down. Here at Scott Marshall, we are immensely proud that the great Gilly Gilchrist is part of such quality British cinema. Here’s hoping that the number of awards this film wins correlates with the number of outstanding reviews!
