KINDERTRANSPORT ARRIVES AT RICHMOND

Kindertransport, by Diane Samuels, has been touring the country since last October and is due to play at the Richmond Theatre next week. Directed by Andrew Hall, it looks at the life of a Kindertransport child during WW2 and afterwards. One desperate mother forces her young daughter on to a train in 1930s Germany sending her out of danger and into the arms of strangers whilst another proud mother says farewell to her grown-up daughter as she leaves the family home in 1980s England. Janet Dibley stars as Evelyn alongside Paula Wilcox in this fantastic production with great composition by Matthew Bugg.

Kindertransport plays at the Richmond Theatre from 3 – 8th February 2014.
