TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2013

This year the Toronto International Film Festival gets underway on 5th September with a fantastic list of films scheduled to premiere. We are very excited that Scott Marshall clients will be appearing amongst them in the following films;

The Fifth Estate; Mounir Margoum appears alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, David Thewlis and Stanley Tucci in the dramatic thriller about WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange.

Rush; Vincent Riotta plays Lauda’s Mechanic in Ron Howard’s biography of Austrian Formula 1 champion driver, Niki Lauda .

Half of a Yellow Sun; Susan Wokoma stars as Amala alongside Thandie Newton and Chiwetel Ejiofor in Biyi Bandele’s film based on Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s novel. The story follows four young people during the struggle to establish and independent republic in Nigeria.

Philomena; Wunmi Mosaku plays a young nun alongside Judi Dench in Stephen Frears’ latest film about a woman’s search for her adult son after he was taken away from her when she was forced to live in a convent.

The Love Punch; John Ramm plays Ken alongside Pierce Brosnan and Emma Thompson in Joel Hopkins’ story about a divorced couple plotting to recover their stolen retirement money.

Starred Up; Gilly Gilchrist appears as Officer Scott alongside Jack O’Connell in David Mackenzie’s  film about a violent teenager who is transferred to an adult prison where he meets his father.

The Invisible Woman; Laurence Spellman can be seen in in Ralph Fiennes’ story of Charles Dickens who, at the height of his career, meets a younger woman who becomes his secret lover until his death.

The festival runs from 5th – 15th September.
