EMILY PLUMTREE’S STRANGE INTERLUDE

Eugene O’Neill’s play Strange Interlude has been revived and opened at the National Theatre earlier this week. It focuses on Nina who, stricken with grief when she loses the love of her life, struggles to deal with the aftermath of World War One and search for happiness. The production, starring Anne-Marie Duff, has received fantastic reviews for all including the lovely Emily Plumtree.

“The performances are superb…..” Charles Spencer, The Daily Telegraph *****

“…the dialogue rattles along at a lick and, most importantly, (Simon Godwin) has assembled a near-perfect acting company.” Theo Bosanquet, Whatsonstage.com *****

Strange Interlude plays at the Lyttleton and currently runs until 12th August.
