ANDREW LANCEL in ‘EPSTEIN: THE MAN WHO MADE THE BEATLES’

Andrew Lancel is currently playing the title role in Epstein: The Man Who Made The Beatles. The first play to show at the newly refurbished Epstein Theatre in Liverpool has received great reviews across the board and, in particular, has commended Andrew for his performance. It has one more week left to run and closes on 1st December.

“Andrew Lancel as Epstein is terrific: his neat closed features, familiar from a recent outing as a murderer in Coronation Street, fold into guarded, cautiously camp despair and his explosions into hysteria are genuinely shocking.Libby Purves, The Times

“….we are treated to a tour de force performance by Andrew Lancel as Brian Epstein. This is in my opinion an award winning performance” Philip Coppell, Click Liverpool

“Andrew Lancel as Epstein was simply mesmerising. Not only was the resemblance remarkable (…) he showed himself capable of delivering a quite thrillingly nuanced study of a troubled character barely in control” Made Up: On Stage in Liverpool
