Matthew is the writer and director of Mr Bugg Presents, a theatre company specialising in creating totally original musicals. Their production of Miss Nightingale has to date toured the UK five times. After a career as a dancer was cut short because of injury, Matthew studied composition at Birmingham University, winning the Barber Scholarship and the Roland Gregory Prize. He plays the piano, viola, violin, alto and tenor saxophone, recorder clarinet, double bass, accordion and ukelele to a high standard.
