MICHAEL
PUNTER (Writer)

Michael is a writer for stage, screen and radio. His many credits include The Wolves for Paines Plough, Darker Shores for Hampstead Theatre and Stagefright for the Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds. With Tom Goodman-Hill, he has developed the TV drama, The Particle, for Wild Mercury Productions.

 

He taught the Playwriting course at Royal Holloway, University of London for 10 years, winning the Apple For Teacher award in 2010 for An Outstanding Contribution to the Student Experience. He has mentored MA students at Central School of Speech and Drama in London, and taught classes in theatre for students from Colgate University, New York and the University of Minnesota. He advised the UKs National Theatre on Classics for the Young, as well as contributing to Contemporary Theatre Review. He is currently Director of Theatre Education for CAPA International Education in London.
