REVITT (Set and Costume Designer)

Rose Revitt is a designer for performance, specialising in set and costume. She won The Linbury Prize for Stage Design 2019 and ‘Best Designer’ at The Stage Debut Award 2020 for her site-specific sculptural set for Dr Korczak’s Example at Leeds Playhouse. Her winning installation design The Tree is currently on display at the National Theatre. With an analytical and playful approach to design, Rose likes unlocking crucial elements within a narrative, enhancing storytelling by finding the essential visual components for each world and its inhabitants. Rose studied an MA in Design for Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Prior to this, her training as a producer with Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre’s Young Company gave her a thorough grounding in theatre production. Photo by Manuel Wagner
