RICHARD BEECHAM TRIUMPHS AT PLAYING FOR TIME

A huge
congratulations to Richard Beecham,
who received fantastic reviews for his production of Playing for Time at The
Sheffield Crucible. Richard directs this harrowing and hard hitting true story
of a group of Jewish female musicians, imprisoned in Auschwitz . The Commandant
of the camp enjoys classical music, and forces the women to literally ‘play for
their lives’. This production commemorates 70 years since the Liberation of
Auschwitz. Make sure you grab your tickets now before the end of this
tremendous run.

“Hard to overstate the impact, the sense of event, commemoration and
bleak grandeur in this extraordinary evening.”
Libby Perves , THEATRE CAT *****

“A
superb production led by Sian Phillips’ devastatingly honest central
performance “
Roger Foss,  THE STAGE, *****

“Hard to watch; likely to
prove much harder to forget.”
Sam Marlowe , THE TIMES, ****

for Time
