MARY ROSCOE APPEARS IN JOANNA HOGG’S EXHIBITION

The work of artist and film-maker, Joanna Hogg, was back in cinemas last week in the form of superbly composed Exhibition. The Guardian’s five star review of the offering described it as “a refrigerated study in domesticity and sophistication, mysterious and preposterous”. Whilst many of the casts are non-professionals, the brilliant Mary Roscoe shines in her role as the neighbour of childless couple D and H. Although Hogg’s films are undoubtedly an acquired taste, there is also no doubt that Exhibition has caused quite a stir amongst critics and film-lovers alike.

Exhibitioncan currently be seen in cinemas nationwide.
