MONA GOODWIN is performing in the UK premiere of Napoli Brooklyn. Directed by Lisa Blair, the play takes place in 1960s Brooklyn and follows the Muscolino sisters; three proud, passionate women with an overwhelming love for each other but all with hidden desires that clash with their family’s traditional values. Mona plays the eldest sister, Tina, who wants to get an education but fears the repercussions from her father. What seems like a straightforward coming-of-age story is turned on its head by a shocking event at the end of the first act.
