A girl wakes to find a strange man in her bed and spends the day piecing together what happened the night before. Lost in a lonely city, she summons one of the 20th Century’s most inspiring figures, Nina Simone.

BRICKING IT – presented by Joanna Griffin

“Meet Pat, a 73-year-old Irish builder. Meet his daughter, Joanna, a 29 year-old writer/performer. They’ve swapped jobs and made a show about it. Comedy virgin Pat will learn how to be a comedian, while Joanna will build a stage for his first ever Edinburgh Fringe”

EUROBEAT – MOLDOVA – Lighting designed by Mike Robertson

A glittering performance that sees Rula Lenska and Lee Latchford Evans take to the stage in this sequin-soaked celebration of Eurovision. Moldova hosts an entirely new contest for 10 countries. The audience holds the power by voting live to determine the winner at each high energy performance.

Eurobeat- Moldova runs from the 3rd – 29th August at Pleasance One at 9:45pm

DARKTALES – Lighting designed by Mike Robertson

Darktales is a horror-thriller and the scariest show at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. The play explored the myths and the stories that scare us at night. Lecturer in creative writing, Alex Crowley and past student Jack Langton confront each other by demonstrating the power of their writing styles and this slowly reveals a dark secret, leading to a terrifying conclusion.

Dark Tales runs from 3rd – 29th August at Pleasance One at 5:50pm.

A dinner marking the coming of spring is being held, filled with family, friends and happiness, this annual party is always a joyful occasion. But sadness soon spreads its way through the evening as a mysterious stranger appears outside the window. Secrets emerge and lies are exposed.
