TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

The Toronto International Film Festival has come to a close and we were delighted to learn that a number of films with Scott Marshall clients involved did very well.

Jackie directed by Pablo Larrian – Winner of the Platform Prize – featuring Georgie Glen as Rose Kennedy. Jackie depicts the events leading up to and following the assassination of JFK through the eye of Jacqueline Kennedy.

A Quiet Passion directed by Terence Davies – featuring Annette Badland as Aunt Elizabeth and Duncan Duff as Austin Dickinson tells the story of Emily Dickinson – now recognised as a genius and who was responsible for some of the most important verse in American Literature.

Their Finest directed by Lone Scherfig – featuring Joanna Brookes and Frances Jeater is a period comedy drama about a group of filmmakers struggling to make an inspirational film to boost morale during the Blitz of London in World War II.

Congratulations to all our clients for this year’s Toronto’s International Film Festival.
